Yay!!!! It's here!!

Back in December 2006, when I signed the contract with Amulet Books, I felt like this day was SOOOOOO far away and would never get here. But now it feels like the time has flown by, although last year was a lot of hard work!

Thank you all for reading my blog and I hope you'll enjoy Something to Blog About. To celebrate the release day, I'm reading a short scene from the book:



(You can hear my dog make a squeaking noise at one point and then one of my cats sneezed not long after that. And I have to send a thank you to Lisa Schroeder, author of I Heart You, You Haunt Me for the idea of using a vlog to celebrate release day, as she did with her book. It was fun! Although I still think I look goofy and I keep getting tongue-tied.)
